wow what a week

this has been one action packed week for me. just found out that both my comp and i got infected with viruses... i'm now down with flu and typing from my bro's comp... haiz zhen1 shi4 huo4 bu4 dan1 xing2... shall try and type while fighting drowsiness at the same time!

first off, with all the nice show's i've been watching. anyone caught the blue planet on arts central? amazing stuff. saw this humungous great white shark (size of my bedroom) swallow the tiny adult seal... wow. entire shark burst out of water like this giant... giant... well it was really big... and just when i began to feel sympathetic towards the poor seals, they showed footage of them eating penguins. followed by penguins fighting penguins, engaged in bloody combat... so much for happy feet...

aand i watched shrek 3 as well! given the kiddy nature of shrek the cinema was filled with tons of families with children in tow. normally children are sweet and endearing and stuff. but when they come as a mob :S doesn't help that they're wearing ogre ears, either... my own family was watching too... including my grandparents. huh? my grandparents?

ah. the power of advertising.

liangwei's bbq was fun! think lw and i mastered the art of roasting the perfect marshmallow! crispy caramel on the outside, pure liquid sweetness on the inside... muahaha. liqun and co. got lost when looking for the gate of his condo, which was pretty funny except that i topped her act when i thot that a metal screw was the button to open the gate. furiously pushing the screw, i didn't notice the big switch behind me... to be fair, that was one suspicious looking screw!

helping out at chestnut drive is/was pretty fun. first day was a bit weird though. felt like i was talking to myself cos the students didn't pay attention. now i know how ms wang feels x.x engaged in monotone for like 1 hr plus while the students exchanged sympathetic looks. haha. today was better though. decided to go on the attack and ask them qns instead to check their concepts. so yeah it was pretty fun on the whole. u guys should go too! will find out how tough it is to explain stoichiometry :O

okay going to faint now... very tired. hope that kept u guys mildly entertained. seeya.
