overrun, overtaken.
back from ethology! it was pretty dry today... maybe cos it wasn't presented by mr ngoh, the very enthusiastic zoology/dae teacher :P or maybe cos i was too freaking tired from the 3.5 hour break+1 hour math tutorial-cum-lecture+1.5 hours of lame and suspiciously gay nippon entertainment...
ah, now that there isn't much to do for school work, i have gotta concentrate on olympiad (or, as a very nice and congenial professor pronounces it, "biolympic" :P). going all out for this one... carrying files and books on any and every biology topic, getting a (freaking ex - 24 bucks to be exact... i better become a doctor in the future) dissection kit, doing questions over and over again, digesting campbell like some earthworm (oh, poor earthworm! the story of thou being dismembered into 12 segments has yet to be told to the world out there!) on drugs...
it's insane how much all that biology is getting into my system. when i was at nus just now, i met this 99s71 senior from hwachong (hey it's really a coincidence!). she asked me a question, "what class are you from?" and the first thing that came to my very-sensitive-to-biological-terms mind was, "class? you mean the kingdom-phylum sense of class?" it almost seemed like an instinct to think that every question out there is an ibo question in disguise... that's damn revolting. and it's almost like *** picking on every opportunity in ms wang's tutorial class to convert some utterance to a not-very-effective pun (you guys get what i mean and who i'm referring to; don't wanna mention names here lest i lose him/her as a friend)... now statements like, "what would you like to order?" and "this plan complements the current scheme", makes me go into campbell-land and bio overdrive. good grief...
thank God for the hols... i can go and sort out these matters and spare you guys from the hiroshima fallout of biological nukes (hmm, reminds me of scud storms :P)! ah... when i think of the bbq - the prawns and squids, the image of the dissecting tray with pinned specimens floats into my mind...
biologist's horror T_T
anyway, on a lighter note, i have finally gotten down to planning the bbq!
so...
remember...
3rd june, afternoon till evening...
anything from cycling to swimming to tennis to frisbee to sauna to playground entertainment...
$10 pax (it's just to offset the food cost - see my previous post on bbq!)
a night when 7e seniors and juniors come to enjoy themselves! :)
cya guys!
