Anyway, there was this interesting article in the sunday times. Usually most would skip through that lengthy review section before the sports pages in the papers, but there was this write-up by a former ST correspondent studying jap in a jap university. About the japanese culture of ganbatte and the schooling environment. Nice average-length read haha.
