playing around with msn

hmm things sort of died down here after liangwei's bbq... so i shall ramble a bit...

was looking at my msn messenger one day and i realised that i had like over a hundred msn contacts! (i'm sure many of you have even more...) But the weird thing is that over the past year i've only chatted with a set group of ten ppl consistently... Classmates, wushu ppl, most of the time. which is pretty weird since half of my contacts occupy the same jc... and i see some of them almost everyday...

i guess jc life makes me pretty myopic and narrow. there are usually so many pressing matters that i don't have time to look around and even say hi to some of my old friends. and just like that, my old friends start to fade away, right in front of me.

maybe i should start deleting some of my contacts. haha sad to say i've kept some from my primary school days for sentimentality. many of them have changed e-mails or have moved on long ago. i hope that doesn't happen to any of my other contacts...

so anyways i was very annoyed at that. so i've made a pact with myself to chat with random friends on msn whenever i have the time. so far, i'm happy to say that they didn't dao me :P
and it is fun to find out how much they've changed/stayed the same. and most importantly it is comforting to know that relationships can be maintained as long as a little bit of effort is put into it...
