haha saw this really cool thing, thought might wanna share. some dutch designer managed to make a floating bed.

yeah, isn't that cool? no strings attached. he installed magnets in both the ground and bed itself, and the natural repulsion between like poles makes the whole bed float. the bed's only kept in place by thin steel wires (i think).

the best thing is that the "bed" is actually only a floating platform, i.e. there's no mattress. so it can also double up as a dining table, writing desk, or anything u want it to be actually. talk about revolutionary interior design.

the bad part about this cool bed is that it goes at an exorbitant price of 1.2 million euros, which is a tad pricey for a bedframe, no matress, no covers. haha and those with piercings, like earrings etc, dun go in the space between the ground and the bed, for quite obvious reasons. imagine your tongue getting stuck to the bottom of the bed haha.
