blackholes and revelations

...i've had enough.

after so many embarrassing CT sessions, after so many annoying lectures, i can't take it anymore. why can't some ppl just learn when to shut up??? itz so easy to keep one's mouth shut... guess they just don't care... actually, wad really ticks me off is that what breaks the silence is always some stupid, infantile joke that no one probably gets besides the speaker. and it goes on and on... long after productive conversation has died out, becoming nothing more than a string of useless exclamations. and i always remind myself not to get to annoyed by them, and satisfy myself with imaginary retribution... hahaha.

but still, it irks me alot that many people around me lack simple manners. i'm not talking abt chivalry or anything like that. i'm not even talking about the basic respect one should have for other people. i'm talking about just being aware that there are living people around you... people who may not exactly appreciate your brand of humour... nor your volume of speech...

and this morning, qq's foot got stepped on by one of our dear classmates, and no apology was given... omg wad is wrong wif this place??? times like this make me ashamed... guess there's not much universal courtesy at all...

the school shouldn't waste money on so many elaborate enrichment lectures on SL or public speaking or grooming... it would be lost on many ppl anyway... instead, we should ensure that the students hav the most basic forms of courtesy... at least it won't be so embarrassing for all involved...

i can't help but feel a bit alienated when i realise that those with common sense and humanity are a rare few indeed... guess i'll cherish kind acts more often now...
